What Exactly Is The Lap Band Procedure?
Here's a really cool video created by leading weight loss surgeon Dr. Ernest Rehnke from Palms of Pasadena Hospital in the US. It's all about the lap band procedure. The video first goes on to explain why lap band surgery is so important to many people and then you get a brief but very informative over the shoulder view or Dr Rehnke performing a lap band procedure on a patient.
A couple of things you should take from this video clip are firstly the teams undoubted professionalism and skill in what to them has become a very straightforward and routine surgical operation and secondly just how little disruption there is to the body and tissues surrounding the stomach itself.
Perhaps the only concern for many might be the lap band port which is actually set back in to the abdomen at the end of the lap band procedure.

Journey Through Lap Band Surgery Video
Just added a really cool new video clip by a very pretty lady from America called patience who went through lap band surgery.
The video charts her progress through from 2005 to 2010 when she manages to lose a LOT of weight in a very short amount of time.
The clip is very inspirational as I think it shows that there is something through the other side after lap band surgery as those contemplating this kind of procedure really don't thave the benefit of seeing how they could be after the operation, so seeing inspiring video clips like these can really help to make it clear in the mind exactly what it is they are hoping to achieve.
